TGCA Community Meeting April 19th,, 2012 7:00pm

Held: El Tio Tex Mex Lee Hwy

Please find below the meeting minutes form the April 19th TGCA meeting.

In attendance were 12 community members (see email for attendees)
Guest Speaker: Mike McGurk (Transurban Group)
Meeting discussion Topics:
Recognition and celebration of the Elmwood  Drive street light.  This area of our community was dark and attracted loitering, dumping and illegal parking.  The street light has greatly helped make this small stretch of road more safe.   Fairfax County along with Tranurban through a grant awarded to TGCA provide Tremont Gardens with almost $8000 to have
a street light installed by VA Dominion Power.  Over 11 months of working with Va Dominion Power, VDOT and Fairfax County the street light was installed just before the end of 2011.
Celebration cake was served
